1-) What Are Your Processed Personal Data?

The purpose of our site is to collect salary data in different occupational groups within the framework of various criteria and to ensure their statistical publication on our site and social media accounts. Our visitors can examine salary statistics belonging to different occupational groups on our site, compare between professions and experience mini-contents under the “Entertainment” title.

General use of our site does not require any membership, and it is sufficient for our visitors who want to share salary information to fill out the contribution form and give approval by clicking on the verification link sent to their e-mail addresses.   • Salary Proof (Optional): It is a document showing salary slip, bank receipt or income status that can be uploaded to the system with the initiative of the user in order to confirm the accuracy of the salary data declared by the user.

    (Submission of this document is not mandatory and is left entirely to the user's preference. However; “kimnekazaniyor.com” reserves the right to reject or not publish the relevant data entry if a confirmatory document is not submitted, especially in salary declarations above or below the market average (outlier), in order to protect the statistical data integrity and reliability on the platform. This document submitted by the user will be publicly published on our site and social media accounts to prove the accuracy of the data.

    The user is obliged to upload this document free of all personal data such as name-surname, T.R. Identity Number, institution registration number, institution/company information worked for, IBAN and similar that can directly or indirectly identify the person, in a way that these personal data are blacked out (masked). Although kimnekazaniyor.com reserves the right to publish by masking personal data that are not masked at all or properly, it has no responsibility arising from the user not uploading this document to the system as specified above.)

  • Other: Cookie data and log records.

    (Log records are kept to ensure the security of our system, to detect possible technical problems and abuses, and to fulfill our obligations pursuant to the legislation. These records are stored for at least one year pursuant to Law No. 5561. 2-) What is the Processing of Your Personal Data, What are the Purposes of Processing, How Long Will It Be Processed?

Processing of your personal data is any operation performed upon data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, changing, rearranging, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making obtainable, classifying or preventing the use of data by fully or partially automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that considering as part of any data recording system.

Your personal data specified above will be processed in accordance with all legislation within the framework of the conditions and legal reasons specified in the fifth and sixth articles of Law No. 6698, such as carrying out the necessary process and ensuring the flow for you to benefit from the service offered through our site, ensuring the best use of our website, improving our website, increasing service quality, ensuring necessary coordination with relevant units with whom there is a business relationship, carrying out the salary information contribution process, preventing the credibility of salary data from being damaged by making salary information contribution again with the same e-mail, evaluating the security of sent contents, keeping moderation and audit records, increasing service quality, fulfilling our information, document giving and other obligations to public institutions and organizations and judicial authorities, anticipating the target audience, detecting violations and taking necessary precautions, keeping your personal data up to date.

Your personal data is not processed without your explicit consent. (See: Explicit Consent Text) However; it is possible to process personal data without seeking explicit consent in the presence of one of the following conditions:

  • It is clearly provided for in the laws.
  • It is mandatory for the protection of life or physical integrity of the person or someone else who is unable to explain his consent due to actual impossibility or whose consent is not granted legal validity.
  • It is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract.
  • It is mandatory for the Company to fulfill its legal obligation.
  • It has been made public by the person concerned himself.
  • Data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right.

Your personal data may be transferred within the scope of the purposes specified above and within scope of the conditions and principles specified in the eighth and ninth articles of Law No. 6698. Transfer of your personal data to third parties and sharing it with these persons is carried out within the framework of your permission and as a rule, it is not transferred to third parties without your approval. However; it can be transferred without seeking your explicit consent in the cases in the first paragraph of the fifth article of Law No. 6698 and in the third paragraph of the sixth article provided that sufficient measures are taken.

In this context; your personal data may be shared with our direct or indirect, domestic or foreign business partners, subsidiaries, advertising companies within the framework of marketing activities and other third parties.

4-) What Are Your Rights Within the Framework of Law No. 6698?

As a data owner, you have the right to;

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in case the reasons requiring processing disappear,
  • Request notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred in case of correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed personal data or deletion or destruction of personal data,
  • Object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • Request compensation for the damage in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.

In case you have any request regarding these rights, you can send it to us in writing or by other methods determined by the Board. Following the arrival of these requests to us, your applications will be concluded within the legal period stipulated in Law No. 6698 and you will be informed. The exception cases stipulated in Article 28 of Law No. 6698 are reserved.

5-) Until When Will Your Personal Data Be Processed?

Your personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized when the reasons requiring processing disappear or when the periods stipulated for us to store your personal data in accordance with the legislation expire.
